Professional high-strength dual-probe pipeline leak detection instrument

Leak detectors primarily operate based on acoustic and electromagnetic principles. When a pipe leaks, the water flow and the surrounding environment produce specific sounds and vibrations. Acoustic leak detectors use highly sensitive sensors to receive these sound signals, converting them into electrical signals for analysis and processing to pinpoint the leak's location. Electromagnetic leak detectors utilize the conductivity of water to detect changes in the electromagnetic field, thus locating the leak.
In some older residential areas, due to years of neglect, small leaks frequently occur in underground water pipes. In these cases, professional repair personnel use leak detectors to quickly and accurately locate the leak without damaging the ground, significantly reducing repair time and costs.

Applications of Leak Detectors:
- Homes: Leaks in kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, and other areas can be detected promptly, preventing water damage to furniture and renovations.
- Commercial Buildings: Leak detectors ensure the normal operation of piping systems in office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, and other locations, reducing business interruptions and economic losses caused by leaks.
- Industrial Facilities: In factories, chemical plants, and other industrial sites, leak detectors ensure the safety of production equipment and pipelines, preventing production accidents and environmental pollution.

Detailed Explanation of Component Functions
- Indoor Sound Sensor
The indoor sound sensor is a small sensor specifically designed for confined indoor spaces. It can be used in small spaces such as under cabinets for easy detection. The indoor sensor uses a pressure needle sensor, which can accurately detect subtle sound changes from small leaks. It is equipped with a manual button switch for control. When the sensor is placed stably, pressing the button switch transmits the sound signal to the main unit. When the button is not pressed, the earpiece will not emit sound, avoiding loud noise caused by friction between the sensor and the ground when moving it, which could damage hearing. - Outdoor Sound Sensor
The outdoor sound sensor is made of high-density aluminum alloy through CNC machining and is equipped with broadband piezoelectric ceramics. It converts sound into electrical signals and transmits them to the screen for data display. The outdoor sound sensor has a flexible silicone shielded wire, which effectively prevents the sensor wire from wrinkling in winter, thus preventing noise caused by sound friction during detection from affecting the detection results. The shielded wire itself has the function of shielding external signal interference, effectively shielding against interference from external electrical signals and the loss of internal electrical signal accuracy. The outdoor sound sensor can also be used to scan for leaks during large-area indoor inspections. The outdoor microphone sensor comes with a handle control cable. The handle has two buttons for controlling the microphone switch. The lower button is a self-locking switch, and the button on the front of the handle is a self-reset control button. During inspection, you can press the button on the handle surface to temporarily shut down the sensor to pick up sound. Releasing the button will allow the headphones to emit normal sound, effectively protecting hearing. Pressing the self-locking normally closed button will further shut down the microphone sensor's sound signal. At this time, the monitoring headphones will not emit sound, and the screen waveform and digital signals will be temporarily turned off. 3. Conventional gas sensors are prone to false alarms from sewage wells, biogas, or combustible gases in various complex environments. Therefore, this device avoids the shortcomings of such sensors by utilizing a high-quality hydrogen electrochemical sensor. The instrument's internal precision calculation chip decomposes the actual tracer gas, achieving optimal display of accurate data. Compared to semiconductor sensors, this significantly improves recognition accuracy and gas detection authenticity, and avoids detection of biogas and other combustible gases from sewage wells. The gas probe uses a silent fan to provide suction, accelerating the flow of the tracer gas in the air, allowing it to be quickly identified by the instrument and reflected on the screen. The sensor uses a silicone rubber-sealed gas collection cap at the bottom to seal any leaking gas and transmit it to the sensor inside the probe.
Gas Sensor Connection
During gas testing, it is necessary to connect the carbon fiber telescopic rod to the clamp and mount the gas sensor on the clamp.
The telescopic rod can be opened by rotating counterclockwise. It can be locked as desired. A windproof rubber sleeve can be placed directly on the bottom of the gas sensor.
- How to Use the Stainless Steel Grounding Pin
The unit comes with a 38cm 304 stainless steel grounding pin. When checking for water on grass or roads, the bottom of the outdoor sensor with the grounding pin can be inserted into the ground for more accurate measurements.
