Underground metal detectors, also known as iron detectors, are detection instruments designed based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. They feature wide detection range, accurate positioning, high resolution, and ease of operation. Primarily used to detect and identify buried metal objects, they are applied in fields such as security inspections, archaeological excavations, mineral exploration, and military surveillance. Their core detection system consists of components such as a high-frequency oscillator and an oscillation detector. The system triggers an audible and visual alarm based on changes in eddy current losses caused by the metal object.
